DisCouRSE announce successful second funding round

Our friends at the DisCouRSE NetworkPlus, one of our fellow UKRI Digital Research Infrastructure projects, have announced the results of their second funding round, which has continued the success of their first round in 2025. This funding round differed from the first as there were three funding streams:

  • Pilot for enabling and exploring new ideas
  • Growth for contributing to existing community initiatives aligned with their aims
  • Cohort training to run a pilot leadership training programme

They received 22 submitted eligible applications and 15 projects were funded, including 2 cohort training applications.

To keep improving their application process, DisCouRSE asked for feedback from prospective applicants, panel members, and the wider project team. From their perspective the process has been smoother second time around, but they are keen to hear insights from the community too, particularly from those who didn’t apply for any reason. You can share your thoughts with them at arc.discourse@ucl.ac.uk.

Congratulations to DisCouRSE and to all the newly funded projects, which you can browse on their website! If you have any channels to help extend the reach of their funding calls and applicant pool, do get in touch with them or consider becoming one of their conduits.
