A Strategic TEchnical Platform for University Technical Professionals (STEP-UP) - Placements
This project offers funding opportunities to support relevant activities and collaborations (open throughout 2026). STEP-UP provides funded career placement and bridging opportunities for individuals working with research data, software, and computing infrastructure to undertake short-term (1–3 month) visits with dRTP teams at Imperial College London, King’s College London, UCL, or the University of Westminster. The scheme supports the development of technical and professional skills, knowledge exchange, and continuity between funded activities. Awards of up to £15,550 per placement contribute towards salary costs and relevant placement expenses. Applications are reviewed monthly throughout 2026 (subject to available funds), with placements to be completed by October 2027.
