RDA 27th Plenary Meeting (P27): Shaping a global open research commons
The Research Data Alliance 27th Plenary Meeting (P27) takes place 6–8 October 2026 at the Kia Oval, London. This year’s plenary is hosted by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and is an in-person event, the first in a new pattern for RDA that pairs an in-person plenary in the autumn with a fully virtual one in the spring.
Under the theme Shaping a global open research commons, P27 brings together the international RDA community to explore how to collectively build a strong, connected and sustainable open research ecosystem. Digital research infrastructure sits at the heart of this: linking researchers and innovators to the data, tools, computing resources and skills that drive discovery.
